Whether you are raw, vegan or just want healthy vegetarian options, I have some rich, hearty and satisfying, abundantly nutritious vegan Thanksgiving recipe ideas to share.
Although not all of these recipes are raw, there are lots to choose from if you are 100% raw, and bonus, many that have root vegetables and other grounding and filling foods so that you get that satiated ‘just ate a big meal’ effect, while still feeling energized and clear after.
These are some of my favorite recipes that I often turn to for the holidays. Most are all raw, but also I am including a few cooked vegan options as well for those that are not 100% raw.
Raw Tip for Celebrating Thanksgiving with others
If you are completely raw, one of the best strategies I have found, when going out to a Thanksgiving dinner at someone else’s place, is to bring a salad or raw dish that you love. It has been my experience that most people are quite fascinated with how you are eating and want to try what you bring. Of course, they will love it, as these dishes not only taste great but they make you feel good after and you feel so good about eating them too. Often I have found that whatever healthy dish I brought was the first to be finished, so my warning is make extra and bring lots!
