This easy raw chocolate bark recipe came about as I decided that I want to make my own raw chocolate. I have been eating more dark chocolate than usual, because it’s easier to just buy it and being in a smaller city means it’s harder to find it raw and raw chocolate is really where it is at on a nutritional level. Raw cacao has off the chart nutritional properties, in my opinion it is one of the most powerful of the superfoods, but it only keeps it’s super powers when it is in it’s raw state. So I am on a quest to create an awesome chocolate bark recipe. || Read more

This burpee workout is a time challenge and is done in a pyramid style with 10 reps done of 4 exercises for the first round and then for each subsequent round you do one less rep of each until you get to the 10th round in which you do just one rep of each exercise. This workout is great for strengthening and toning the full body, as burpees are the best full body exercise I know of, but this is especially good for the abs and core with the last 2 exercises directly targeting those. Adding some weight with the sandbag intensifies the action and effect. Tighten your abs as you do the sit ups and leg raises to get the most out of these.

I love a good traditional tabouli salad, made with parsley, mint and bulgur, which is made from wheat. However, I love  my own home made tabouli, made with parsley, cilantro, avocado and hemp seeds, so much more. This tabouli recipe is packed with superfoods, and whenever you can pack more superfoods in and have something taste even better – I’m all in for that! I know, I know a lot of you don’t like cilantro. I used to feel the same, but have turned around on that, and this recipe just may make you feel the same. To me this is a recipe that it really works in, so much so that this has become a favorite salad. On top of that, cilantro is very much a superfood with some really unique health properties, like drawing heavy metals out of the body among many others. So I encourage you to give this super nutritious version of tabouli a try. You may become a convert too!

Our virtual trip today takes us to the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. This festival is amazing with full size buildings made from blocks of 2–3 feet thick of crystal clear ice cut from the Songhua River and lit up in many colors. Quite fascinating and beautiful.  This is ‘Ice and Snow World’ but there is also an exhibition at Sun Island with enormous snow sculptures as well as ice and snow sculptures throughout the city.  || Read more

This fun and fast moving ball workout features the Ugi and also has a Swiss ball being used for a couple exercises. This workout is a little longer than usual, but workouts using the Ugi always somehow seem more fun. This workout moves alog quickly. It is fast, dynamic and filled with cardio. It has 4 rounds and in each you alternate rounds of intervals (HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training) with skipping.  This will take approximately 20 minutes or longer if you take breaks between rounds. Try to get through it as quickly as you can.  || Read more

Spice up your plate and excite your palate with the fabulous flavor explosion of mango chutney. This sweet, spicy and savory condiment transforms your plate into an exotic adventure. I love this chutney served along with a main dish meal or one of my favorite ways of eating it is spread on crackers. It pairs well layered with hummus or almond or cashew cheeses as well. Chutney is used in a similar way that pickles or relish is used. Great on burgers, sandwiches and I have even used it successfully as a pizza topping. Get creative with it and add a touch of the unexpected. It is a wonderful flavor enhancer that livens up any plate.  || Read more

I had to celebrate as this is my 100th workout video on Youtube! And so what better way to celebrate than to do lots of burpees – 100 burpees of course!  This workout rocks! I picked out 10 of my favorite kinds of burpees. ok, hold up, I lied, because supergirl burpees are NOT my favorite, but I do want to get better at them, so yes they are included, but aside from these.. and if I was good at them, they would be pretty awesome! ..and so one day they will be a favorite and this will be true. Truth from the future. But I digress.  This workout has 10 rounds of super awesome burpees and knee hug crunches. Burpee love.   || Read more
