It’s wonderful to watch a garden grow! These are pictures from our garden before and after our trip to Toronto, just over a week! We were late getting it in, and almost everything is from seed..but wow, it sure is catching up quick!
Being the green smoothie lovers that we are, we are growing almost all greens this year in our garden! Here Kale, chard and lettuce.. also tomatoes, and not shown is a patch of broccoli and beets.

Look at the difference in a week! This is a side patch of spinach, parsley and lettuce:
..and this one has beautiful basil plants coming up, various herbs and some rainbow chard in back:
Beside the house, these are perennials and come up every year.. lots of oregano and chives growing through the cracks..
We are eating lettuce already from the garden – Love it!!
