Mint to Be Green Juice Recipe
2013
This delicious green juice is sweetened with apple and flavored by basil and mint. It was delicious and a favorite with everyone. I think I scared Mom from green juice with the garlic and ginger, which I love! But I won her back with the sweet mint. This is a great way to make a green juice taste great!
I am a little behind in posting my green juices. A few I have juiced without taking photos, but most I have and I will just keep posting them, even if it takes me into November. Of course I have a few other recipes to share as well and will make sure to get back to those soon too!
The basil for this juice came from my garden, just before our frost hit. I made this juice last week, and shortly after we did get our first big frost and I lost some of my beloved basil, which is so sad for me. But it’s a game of chance with it at the end of the season. However, I was using it lots for the last few weeks. Maybe I will have to look into growing basil indoors for the winter. In any case, it was awesome paired with mint and apple in this juice!
