Goddess Bowl #1 with Tahini Miso Dressing Recipe
2013
The tahini miso dressing recipe for this Goddess layered salad is a creamy smooth, ultra healthy salad dressing that goes with all combos of the Goddess Salad. For this first Goddess bowl, I chose a more savory version and topped it with olives and artichoke hearts. With it’s high protein base of quinoa topped with shredded kale, beets and all of the nutritious layers, this is one combination that may be hard to beat! And I definitely felt like a Goddess all day long after eating it.
Goddess Bowls
This all began as a need for a couple big bowls for Mom and I to eat big full meal salads in. We have fairly big bowls as part of a set. But I wanted something even bigger and something special. A Goddess needs a special bowl to eat her Goddess salad in and it has to be big. So, I went out on a mission to find some special bowls and am happy with these new ones. Having a great bowl makes eating a big healthy salad even more special! So, get your Goddess Bowls out and join me in the kitchen!

the Dressing
¼ cup Tahini Miso Dressing Recipe
Our tahini miso dressing recipe has a base of tahini, which is made from ground sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are one of the most nutritious seeds, and tahini is a true superfood. Miso, a fermented food with beneficial good bacteria is added, along with garlic and lemon, making this one of the most healthy salad dressings around. Our Goddess Bowl topped with this dressing is an exceptional nutritional superstar, and it is fantastically delicious as well. That’s a double bonus for us!

I love the whisk pictured above and use it all the time. It’s from Ikea.
I also love my VitaMix blender and use it all the time. I have a link to it on my Resource page. A great blender is invaluable to me. It’s my favorite kitchen appliance.

Preparing the Goddess Bowl
Start with quinoa. It doesn’t look like much here, but it is a cup.
Chop kale. I did it the easy way, in a food processor. I used 4 stalks as they were smaller than usual. 2 big leaves is usually lots.
Add the greens layer, here – baby spinach leaves and chopped kale.
Chop up some vegetables.
Add veggies to bowl.
Add walnuts
Add hemp seeds
Add artichoke hearts. I cut them up a bit.
Add olives. I used my new olive pitter that I got in my Christmas stocking. It worked wonderfully! Such an awesome invention! 😉
Add tahini miso salad dressing.
Ready to eat!
The fun part is mixing it up!
It kept changing and turned pink from the beets.
Great combination. It tasted delicious! ..and I felt energized, full and awesome after eating it!
