This is a recipe I created years ago and it still has yet to be improved upon. It’s still a favorite and even if I create others (it’s nice for a change) I keep coming back to this one. I made this the day before yesterday and some skeptics around here were delightfully surprised. Well, I was delighted, especially when yesterday, a day after eating the soup I kep getting sporadic compliments on it. “That green soup was great” I kept hearing. It made me feel good to turn people, who didn’t believe a green soup could taste good, onto it. || Read more

This corn chowder is vegan and made creamy with coconut milk, which has healthy fats your body utilizes well, and medium chain fatty acids which help to dissolve the bad fats in cells. Coconuts are very nutritious and so a great choice for making soups creamy. Corn is a food that although I love, I don’t eat very often as it is high in carbs and is often GMO. I usually only buy organic but we got a lot of fresh produce this week from a local farmer that was mostly, but not certified organic. At least no pesticides were used! || Read more
![Ugid Again Ugi Workout title](https://www.robinskey.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/ugid-Again-Workout-title.jpg)
I love using my Ugi in workouts. It really feels like playing, but don’t be deceived by it’s cute look, it can really make exercises so much more challenging. In exercises where you are balancing on it, like the lunge on Ugi and plank to pike on Ugi, you can really feel your core muscles working as you stabilize your body on it. My pink one is 8 pounds so it adds a bit of resistance also. || Read more

Nori is one of the most nutritious foods around so I am always happy when I think of a new way to make it interesting and add to my diet. In this recipe veggies are mixed with an avocado and mayonnaise mix – of course, you know I’m using my hemp oil mayo! So it is super nutritious and loaded with healthy EFA’s. Getting healthy fats into your diet is great. They are not only beneficial to your health but they help clean out the bat fats from your cells and can actually help you lose weight. These veggie nori rolls are delicious and for health, it’s hard to beat a veggie/sea veggie combo like this! || Read more

This sandbag workout is a combination of skipping and exercises using a sandbag. I added a little extra weight to my sandbag and had it at 25 pounds for this one. I expected to get in 3 rounds, but was done by 2, probably due to the extra resistance. The skipping gives a nice little break to the sandbag exercises after each round. The sandbag T pull push ups and the good morning sandbag squats were new exercises for me and I really liked them. Actually, I really liked the whole combination of these exercises.
